Dear IAU Div D Members

since I have got several inquiries about what sort of inputs are needed for Bulletin n.2, I am re-sending the message I had sent last 27 February with reference to Bulletin N.1, see below. The deadline for inputs for Bulletin N.1 was March 1st. For Bulletin N. 2, the deadline is June 21st.

Diana Worrall and I have discussed the opportunity of having dissemination and exchange of information within our Division D in the form of a Bulletin. This should be succinct, and include very brief messages, web links, and short references to matters that may be relevant to the activities of Div D Members. These could be, e.g., communications about newly approved projects, missions, enterprises that may be of wide interest within the community; information on relevant meetings, workshops, conferences; news about members who moved institutions, changed affiliations, or, sadly, passed away. In this spirit, I would like to ask you all to send me by *Friday, March 21st*, any pieces of news that you would like to appear in the first Bulletin. I will collect them and simply format them in a text message that will be sent to the Division mailing list on April 1st. If the experiment succeeds, we intend to send out a bulletin every 3 months.
