Dear members of IAU Division H on Interstellar Matter and Local Universe,

This is the second year the IAU has offered a Prize in each Division for the best PhD Dissertation completed between December 16th of the previous year and December 15th of the current year.

We encourage you to nominate your students or anyone you know who has received a PhD this year in a topic covered by an IAU Division. The student does not have to be an IAU member and the student's country of origin does not have to be an IAU National Member.
