5. Prizes:
- Kavli Prize
The deadline for nominations is 1 December 2011. The Kavli Prize is awarded for outstanding achievement in advancing our knowledge and understanding in the fields Astrophysics, Nanoscience and Neuroscience. - Gruber Foundation Cosmology Prize
The Cosmology Prize honours a leading cosmologist, astronomer, astrophysicist or scientific philosopher for theoretical, analytical, conceptual or observational discoveries leading to fundamental advances in our understanding of the universe.
