Sensing astronomy

Visually impaired children take turns with the "Touch of the Universe" kit. This kit was specially designed to make astronomy accessible to visually impaired people by allowing them to touch a physical representation of the sky. The kit was donated to Gurudev Observatory with the help of Dr. Amelia Ortz-Gil (UDV, Spain). It was used by the “Aavo Chhule Aasmaan” (Let us touch the sky) project to run several astronomy sessions with visually impaired people in India, with the support of the OAD.
